Bath and Body Works Charmed Life

Charmed Life is the newest Signature Scent from Bath and Body Works. It's a fun , fruity scent that feels more summer than fall but it's here now. It's very girly and one that should appeal to many. Berry, Pear and Musks seem the predominant notes to my nose.

Salty Caramel Candle by Slatkin for Bath & Body Works

 Hands down this is one  of the best smelling candles EVER. Whether it's burning, or just sitting out, it smells so amazing. It's caramel ,vanilla , nuts and toffee. Rich and sugary  and just like what it's name implies.  It's Crunch n Munch in a candle but better.

This is part of the fall line, but there is not a time when this won't smell right. It's too delicious.  Go try it- if you smell it, you will want it.
 
I see they a have it in a room spray as well. Think that's going on the "to buy" list next trip.

Bath & Body Works Royal Collection Pocket Bacs & Liplicious

Are you ready for the Royal Wedding? I am. I have been a royal watcher since childhood and eagerly await William's big day. Sadly despite my decades of support , it appears my invite has been lost in the mail

Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland

Secret Wonderland is the new Bath and Body Works Holiday scent. It comes in the usual assortment of products across the brand.

It has a berry scent mixed with  peach, light musk , and amber  to my nose. It's not too strong  and  include notes of  Strawberry, Goji Berries, Raspberry, Jasmine,peach , Coconut Musk, Creamy Vanilla and White Amber.

My favorite products are the Sensual Swirl Body Lotion- a creamy gel/lotion mixture that looks very cool in the bottle. It's a  fun way to get your lotion fix.

And because I am firmly in the you can never have too much hand lotion camp, I love the Shea  Cashmere Hand Cream. It very moisturizing and gives off a nice  bit of the scent.

Bath and Body Works Holiday Hand Soaps

These new figural hand soaps from Bath and Body Works are cheery and make great gifts.   Or maybe as a way to get kids to wash their hands more easily ?

Bath and Body Works ScentEgg from Slatkin

Do you have the Scentbug from Slatkin for Bath and Body Works? I got one last Christmas .  It's fun , and easy to use. Now there's a non -battery powered mini option for use anywhere-ScentEgg.

It's an air freshener  made for smaller spaces and  now comes in holiday shades to match festive decor.

Bath and Body Works Signature for Men

Bath and Body Works brought out a new Signature line for men last month. It comprises 4 scents and 3 different products- body wash, deodorizing body spray, and cologne.

What I loved was the quality here. These smell really good. I had the Oak cologne to try and to me this smells every bit as good as many high end men's fragrances. I love when great scent can be gotten a good price point but only if the quality is there. Oak is my favorite, but the others , especially Ocean, were nice as well.

Oak is a bit sweet, and smells at times to me like old , oak cask aged whiskey. There obviously is an oak note and it's a dark oak. Plenty of soft woods give it a lived in feel ( mainly the cedarwood) and it sits really well on the skin. It's not strong at all and has no aquatic or green notes . You can find them in the other fragrances in the line.

Those other scents are:

Citron- a woodsy citrus with sandalwood , Ocean- green, fresh and aquatic with vetiver and Noir- which I haven't tried.

C.O. Bigelow Lemon & Orange Blossom

If you are an orange blossom fan such as myself, than you'll want to try C.O.Bigelow's Lemon and Orange Blossom line.

I adore orange blossom and have the Cream Body Wash from this line so far. I don't usually see this scent done well outside higher priced lines . Bigelow gets it right. They use natural lemon oil and extract as well as orange blossom extract. The lemon gives a little tart citrus kick that goes well with it , but the scent is mainly true,fragrant orange blossom. Sweet, summery and very pretty. The body wash is thick , creamy and moisturizing but not heavy.

I've decided that the matching Body Cream is a must buy. I've looked at Jo Malone's orange blossom body cream for awhile . I can now have the Bigelow at a fraction of the cost and that is a good thing.

Bath and Body Works Summer Vanillas

It's been awhile since a new scent at Bath and Body Works got my attention. I do like the new Orange Sapphire , but in April is Summer Vanillas and this is a really good one. It's unusual I like them so much because I am not really a vanilla fan.

These vanilla blends are more about the fruit, with a small helping of vanilla. The Coconut Vanilla smells just like a Pina Colada. The Apricot is my favorite being a ripe fruit layered over ice cream scent and then there is a great citrus-y lemon , and a berry. Something for everyone, or maybe all for everyone ? Having tried all but the berry I can tell you these smell very, very good.

These come in the full line of body spray, shower gels, lotion as well as new Cooling Mist and Tasty Lip Gloss.
