My experience at Lakme Fruit Moisture Launch Event

Sorryfor posting this article little late – It’s just that my net connection isacting up these days. .

Anyways– I was invited to an exclusive event by Lakme, which featured launch of theirLakme Fruit Moisture Range of skin care products for the coming winter.

Theevent was an exotic and colorful that was inspired by the special ingredientsin the new moisture range. Right from the décor of the place to the food servedto the guests of the evening was inspired by the mysterious duskiness of theplums, juicy red of strawberries, soft elegance of peaches, rich gold of honeyand dewy green of avocados. The host of the evening was Suchitra pillai whowelcomed the guests in order to kick-start the event.

Theevening started by an exotic wine tasting session, the sommelier had speciallychosen the wines for the evening that went with the theme of the event. Thesommelier taught the guests how to savor the taste of the wine so as to enjoythe heady aromas of the exotic fruits that appeal the palate and set the moodfor the evening.

Thewine tasting journey was followed by the supper theatre experience. ‘NostalgiaBrand Chewing Gum’ was the play of the evening. A comical play about thetangled love lives of four people living in urban India.

TheLaunch of Lakme Fruit Moisture Range by the Brand manager of Lakme followed theplay. The Range boasts the breakthrough ‘Nutritive Moisture Teachnology’ and ablend of Hydrating agents, Essential Vitamins, AHA’s and Anti-oxidants thatprovides the skin 12- hours of perfect moisture boost.

Theevening ended on a delicious note, which included a scrumptious dinner incontinuation of the evening’s theme.

Himalaya Revitalizing Night Cream

I am told that it's during the night that our bodies boot up up their restorative "programme". The human body is well made and takes advantage of this resting time to repair the damage caused by the day's external attacks.Cellular renovation activity reaches a peak between the hours of 2am and 4am.

I never use to apply Night cream earlier. It was only a few months ago that the trend of night creams took over and suddenly everyone started talking about Night care skin regime etc. Anyway!! I had heard many girls go gaga about the wonders of night cream - So I decided to try it out myself. My first Night cream was from Lakme. Sadly it did not suit me and caused breakouts.

After that I stopped immediately and never reverted to night creams again. When Himalaya sent me a few products I was bit skeptical seeing a night cream in the box. I was scared using it. Direction for use: apply on cleansed face and neck each night, when skin is most receptive for repair and renewal. On waking, your skin is soothed.

My Experience with the Product:
I liked this product. It is true to its claims and works fine on me.
I wash my face every night and then take a pea size amount and just pat the cream on my face. I have oily skin which is why I apply moisturizers very sparingly.
After patting the cream, I blend it into my skin. The cream blends into your skin easily and doesn't leave you skin feeling heavy.
The texture of the cream is very nice and light which makes this product best for combination/oily skin type. Dry skinned people can opt for Lakme Night cream which will suit perfect for their skin.
It does even soothes the skin, making it radiant in the morning.
I love the fact that the cream does not make my skin break out.
It is very economically priced.

Love it or chuck it ? 
Absolutely worth a try. Take care that you don't dug into the tub if you don't have your hands clean. Its EEKS!!!!
