Pure Silk's New Shave Creams

Bare leg season is here and that means hair removal. For me it's  razors. Depilatories totally remove any trace of self tanner so they are out.

Even though I love moisturizing razors like the Venus Pro Skin I also like the close shaves of the Bic Soleil and Shick Quattro.( Yes like almost every beauty product I own, I have multiples ).

Sometimes those closer shaves can make your skin feel a little irritated which is where a good shaving agent comes in.  Pure Silk , one of those bargains that are really worth it, now has  new Shave Creams varieties . The new Venus Pro Skin  is the kind of razor you can use without shaving cream . It gives you that much moisture due to  it's  "moisture rich" infused shave bars that surround the triple blade. The shave isn't quite as close due  to that moisture, but your legs  feel but soothed and soft. never  irritated ,.  A bonus to the moisture shave bars - I have a feeling they'll be easier on self tanner wear  than a more close  shave.

Venus  Pro Skin also has a strong fresh scent, is lightweight in the  hand, comes with 2 cartridges and shower hook.

Schick Quattro Trim Style Razor/Trimmer

Razors just keep getting better and more innovative. I picked up the new Schick Quattro Trim Style at the Luxe Lab in NY over Fashion Week. The Trimstyle combines a 4 blade razor on one end with a bikini line trimmer on the other. Putting these two together was a good idea.

The Trimmer is waterproof for in shower use and has a comb end that can be adjusted or removed depening on level of trimming wanted.

The razor is refillable, and gives a great close shave. Perfect for summer, which is coming soon, really.

The package includes the one AAA battery you need for the trimmer and a shower hook.

Gillette Venus Embrace- New

The new Venus Embrace razor is the first with 5 blades. It promises ultra smooth skin and it delivers.

I had forgotten how wonderful these more upscale razors could be. Lately I have been mostly using lesser expensive disposables which did the job but not like this. Going from them to this was wonderful. Less stubble, stinging etc. Is it wrong to get excited over a new razor? Is that a sign of the recession- it's the little things? I think it's just the beauty nut in me, even though the little things are great too.

Venus Embrace has thick bands of moisture that treat your legs while you shave and it is refillable. The main kit also has a shower "pod" as they call it, to hang your razor handily in the shower. It's very worth the money and great for your legs too.
