NARS G-Spot Mulitple & Miss Liberty Blush - Holiday 2011

NARS holiday collection  is called Miss Liberty and features 2 new shades in  NARS products we all know and love- their blush and The Multiple. 

Everyone should have at least 1 Multiple in their makeup collection and  new G-Spot is a great fall to winter shade. NARS calls it gold infused rose, but on me, it's a bit more plummy rose with  little shimmer. It's quite pretty either way and a fast way to add some rosy color to winter pale cheeks but deep enough for darker skintones .

Miss Liberty Blush  is a highlighting blush in a  beautiful, shimmery light  nude/peach. It's very sheer but on  pale skins like myself I can use it alone for subtle color. Of course it goes great over a deeper shade as well , since as the name says, it's highlighting.

NARS Holiday 2011 Bento Box & Kabuki Eye Palette

NARS New Gaiety Blush Previews at Thakoon Spring 2012

NARS is known for their blush as much as any makeup item they have. We've all heard of Orgasm right ? In fact most probably own it. Torrid is personally one of my favs.

During fashion week they debuted some new products and one is a new blush used here called Gaiety. It will be out in Spring. Also new is a tinted moisturizer.

NARS Concealer  will be re-packaged and have a broader shade range beginning September 1st. Now there will be 10 shades instead of 6  and  according to NARS "reaches a broader scope of skintones and is targeted to more  closely match NARS’ Sheer Matte & Sheer Glow Foundation shades"

• Chantilly – for fairest of complexions, true ivory – NEW

New NARS / Daphne Guinness for Fall

Daphne Guinness is a style icon. She wears couture as most women wear sportswear . Recently she purchased the entire collection of the late Isabella Blow's hats. I hope someday she exhibits them so everyone can see .

Guinness is also friends with Francois Nars and is now not only the face of fall , but has her own monikered eye shadow.

Daphne is a royal purple and Guinness is wearing it in the ads along with several other new releases. I don't think it even looks like her in the picture, but either way it's a stunning image. The eyeshadow, well it looks like a beauty .

Also new are :

-Mangrove eyeshadow , a yellow-green shade
-Douceur blush, a soft pink- brown
-Rouge Basque lipstick- a true red.

In other NARS news, he is thinking about opening a free standing boutique , probably on Bleecker in NYC this fall. The store will have special items in addition to the full line.

NARS Multiple Tint Tubes

The always informative The Cut blog at New York Magazine gave us this first look at 3 new Multiples from NARS. Very different from past ones, these are super bright but they are also very sheer according to the site. Personally I think they look fun and might give the orange one a try.

Colors are: Cadaqués( fuschia) Beverly Hills ( red) and Turks & Caicos ( orange).
